 Defensible Space is only helpful on low to medium intensity wildfires, when you have lots of fire fighting resources immediatly on site.  Defensible Space during extreme drought codes and strong winds carries fire faster to burn down all unburned fuels quicker hense hazardous fuel reductions need to be black to starve the dragon make it wane.

To use Dragon Wizz Wheel stand in front of structure in real world. Lay plasGc Wizz Wheel on the horizontal. Then turn the clear disk with the wind arrow, so that it is in harmony with the on site winds. The red dots show the trained miGgator where to lay fire from a self-starGng propane torch or a drip torch. The just started flames blow into the Dragon Ring circular control line. This basically increases the size of the control line. Ignite both semi-circle red lines as fast as you can. Flames should burn into wind, but you can strip off or bite off more unburned ground unGl both semi-circles of fire meet each other and form the first Black Donut.
Next, go up to the upwind side of the Dragon Ring that encircles the home. Lay fire right against that Circular Dragon Ring around the house. Then burn all the grass and leaf liZer unGl the enGre area around the structure you want to survive is set in a huge Black Spot.
